Why We Started This Site

Debt is a serious problem. Some people get into financial trouble because of a serious illness or other family catastrophe. Other people sink gradually into debt because of a series of poor financial decisions. No matter how it happens, few of us are really prepared to cope with debt.

That's because not many of us are financial masterminds. By the time we realize we're in trouble, it's almost overwhelming.

We started Debt-Consolidation-Diva to provide practical, useful, basic information to people who are considering debt consolidation as a way to manage their debt problem. We're not advocating debt consolidation. Debt consolidation is a great thing, but it is not the right solution for everyone. Some people won't qualify for it, others will do better with different plans.

But for the right people--and there are a lot of us--debt consolidation can be a great way to fight your way back to financial freedom. This site is about providing information. A lot of companies give you information, but they're also trying to sell you a product. Debt-Consolidation-Diva doesn't make loans. We don't sell programs.

All information on this site is accurate to the best of our ability at the time of publishing, but we make no guarantees, implicit or explicit, that the information is correct. We also strongly state that we are NOT a substitute for credit counseling or professional financial services. We do not recommend that you read our information and get no other advice. Take our site and its contents as information published for entertainment purposes only. Use this site to get motivated, encouraged, and to help you on your way. Do your own research, get a certified credit counselor involved, and take action. We're an encouragement and a resource along the way, not the solution!
